This web site photo has SO much going for it…
It’s colorful.
It’s got plants.
It’s got motion with that wind sock.
It’s got the name of the shop right there.
They’ve added the shop’s address with text.
It’s POPULATED… just by a mannequin, but at least it doesn’t look like a neutron bomb’s fallen.
And last but not least… who could possibly resist a PURPLE door? Not me!
P.S. And the sign in the door says OPEN. I can’t count the number of storefront photos I have seen on the web with a big CLOSED sign blaring out!

Cute entrance but two key items are missing…PHONE NUMBER and WEBSITE address! Also good to have your QR code on your window for those with smart phones.
woo hoo, Thank you all. My colors are purple, lime, fuschia, and tourquois inside and out. I borrowed those colors from a store in Marietta, Ohio called Twisted Sisters. Everytime we went there to visit my son in college, that store called me in!
The DITTO building is 100 yrs old, was first Dresden Creamery – a dairy. The only remnants of that was an attic full of wooden cheese crates and barrels. After that it was home to The Dresden Transcript newspaper for the next 90 yrs. My more mature customers have great stories of where the printing presses were located and typesetting every single story by hand. There was a little area where they did book binding also. Just before we purchased it, it became a real estate office until the bottom fell out of the market…..I chose the building for the location, as it could not have looked more UN-like a store. I have a ‘making of DITTO’ album on the fb page if you get bored. 🙂
I especially like the green potted topiary with the purple door. It’s nice to mix the colors up.
Great curb appeal!
Purple rocks.
So does Auntie Kate.

So does “That Old House”, Cass… reminds me of the wonderful homes in my home town.
