Wouldn’t it be great to TELL your email list and your blog readers about these nifty potential treasures once in a while? Something along the lines of
Look what you overlooked or Wow, can’t beLIEVE everyone MISSED these great items!
then list 3-5 really impressive items on their final days in your shop. If you can, photos will increase interest, but if you can’t, just right a few words, maybe something along the lines of
Terrific Rykiel knit 2-piece skirt set: The multiknit this talented (and expensive!) designer is known for, long sleeves, mid-knee skirt, size Small (we’d say about a size 6, maybe a 4)… retails at about $495, originally here at MyShop for $99, now marked down to…can you beLIEVE…$25!
For best results, choose to showcase items that will appeal to the widest possible target audience: the Coach bag, not the Coach pumps; the couch throw, not the twin blanket. And don’t forget to let your staff know exactly what’s going on!

I think that is a great idea. I have often been in shops myself, and could not believe that something i found was still there. Afterall, I thought it was fabulous, why didn’t someone else? I will use this idea in my shop, as a monthly feature. thanks kate
