Christmas Budget Getting Low but still one shopkeeper to go?

December 15, 2008 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

So, Spouse/Offspring/Progenitor of Resale Royalty or Consignment Countess, is your holiday gift budget shot, and you have NO idea what will make your loved one’s secondhand shop even more of a joy to her/him than it already is?

And you want to honor her/his motto Clever ReUse? And to acknowledge that straightening stock is an Olympic sport in the World of Resale?

So the question is: What can you gift her/him with that is clever, cunning…and cheap?

.

Here’s the answer! (And some sprightly music too!) Scrounge some nice clean cardboard (from the neighbor’s new flat-screen TV perhaps, get out the utility knife and tape, and go to town!

And yes, I know your Thrift Terrorist always says things have to come IN on hangers. But that doesn’t mean she/he doesn’t also, many times, need to create a nice folded display or swing-shop table.

Trust me, she’ll love this thoughtful, thrifty, and useful gift.

Although tying a nice big box of Godiva chocolates onto it wouldn’t hurt.

Shut up! That is too wild. A tee shirt folding device.
