Duck & Hummingbird for breakfast…

June 25, 2009 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

and bunny rabbit for lunch.

Yes, indeedy do. The duck was on the patio at the hotel restaurant (Kenny fed him rye toast but me being so rules-following, simply frowned) and the hummingbird fed himself on the pink pentas growing next to the path to the TEN pools (2 1/2 acres of water fun in the desert. Ain’t Amurica great?)

The bunny is our constant companion on the lawn outside our room, which overlooks a fake lake (ditto, Amurica great) He’s cute but camera shy.

Oh, in between we visited Fair Trade Consignment in Peoria and another nice shop. Report will have to wait until after I go to the Sunshine Girls/ Guys Sharing meet-up in the hotel lobby bar… I found the GREATEST sunshine balloon at the grocery last night at 1am (that jet lag’s a true pain.)

Pix toi follow. I am getting overwhelmed with electronic doodads. Tracyk has to manage my cell phone for me… see you later!
