« Christmas Eve Disasters Resale-style
Go buy a lot of little Christmas trees this weekend. »

The day after Christmas can be a resale bonanza, in both ways.

December 25, 2009 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Two email subject lines to send to your consignment shop clients Saturday.

Didn’t get what you wanted yesterday? (then come shop: after all who knows better than you what you want and where to get it)

You got what you didn’t want yesterday? (come consign, sell,  donate to one of our charity accounts, “trade”…or even, if you’ve planned ahead, give to the local charitable group which will be here on Saturday for your donation… and every donation gets a [free gift, $-off coupon]  from us for being so generous.)

Most effective way to use these messages? 3-4 hours apart, both on Saturday, in that order (the first one will bring them to your shop while they’re out returning,  the second when they get back home and see the sweater Auntie Tilde sent which is not returnable and is, most emphatically, not them.)

PS Hope you got what YOU wanted!
