Happy Weekend! Even consignment & resale shopkeepers get to have a weekend…

May 21, 2010 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

It's the weekend. Replax and forget about those consignors.People have been writing, emailing, calling, twittering, and sending those weird messages from Facebook, asking me

“Whatever happened to your Friday links? We’re RETAILERS … we need a little extra dose of fun to make it a real WEEKEND for us!”

So, herein, some interesting, amusing, and odd weekend trips along the Information Highway I’ve stumbled across for you. I leave it to you to decide which are the odd ones.

The simplest explanation of how to write a press release.
My step-by-step example, which we did back in post-Katrina days.

Okay, that’s enough business for the weekend. Enjoy yourself with these links:

Be thankful you’re not in the bakery business, where your mistakes are engraved in frosting.

Got bored teens around the house? Let them find gainful employment (=all the used jeans they want from your shop).

And now for something completely different. How I LONG to have one of these in my dream shop.

Put a link to this song/video on your desktop. Then play it when someone really IRKS you. I dare you to get upset, then.

The Art-O-Mat is my latest vote for best re-use of an item! Simply brilliant.
