Sophisticated? Childlike? Both in this shop decor.

November 23, 2010 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Great shop decor...easily used for consignment and resale shops! Can a childrenswear consignment or resale shop decor be sophisticated, chic, childlike, fresh…and inexpensive…all at once?

I think you can agree with me that this Swedish shop is all of the above.

I think we can also agree that there’s nothing saying a shop which looks like this is only allowed to sell kidstuff. See more pix. Don’t miss the tree which grows onto the ceiling. One word: Contac paper. And the purple lamps.

I’m in love. Thanks to Decor 8 blog for bringing this to us. Visit their category, Shop Tours, for mouth-watering goodness.

Hardwood floors make SO much difference, don’t they?
Hope that soon, you will be able to join us at http://www.HowToConsign.com... I know that our Canadian cousins are as much into resale as we are, and wish there were more listed in our Clickable Map & Directory!

Yes, I think a children’s consignment shop can do all of the above! We get compliments on our decor all of the time! Our store isn’t as empty as the above but we have beautiful colours, hardwood floors and little trinkets for all to see and stare at for hours! I just dressed up our window and the rest of the store to bring in the holidays! I wish I could attach a picture!
We are on facebook under dandelions conisignment. We are in Stittsville, Ontario (part of Ottawa, the capital of Canada).
