5-Minute Fixes: DIY Newspaper Coverage.

June 3, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

If we’re real lucky,

(and if we are talented consignment, resale, thrift shopkeepers as well) we always get the newspaper story we want, written the way we’d want our viewers to read. But that seldom happens. So why not write your own story and use it on your web site, in your blog, or even, if you must, on Facebook?

This you can do in under five minutes.

It’s free, it’s simple, and best of all, people will actually read it!

Didn’t you just read it? Get all the benefits of media coverage with none of the PITA press releases and misquotes.

You can do this yourself, in under five minutes I promise, at Fodey.com. You can also do talking squirrels there, but I can’t imagine that would do your shop’s credibility any favors. I mean, you’d have to be nutz.

Isn’t it cute? (I thought someone would roll her/his eyes at my “article”… but I guess they did so silently 😉 )
And it is stunningly amazing that folks will really perceive this as “press coverage”! Tell us where you use yours so we can see it, Lynn!
