Happy 4th of July!

July 4, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Happy Independence Day to our American friends, and Happy (Belated) Canada Day to our Canadians! (PS I have been informed that those little maple-leaf-shaped maple sugar candies I craved as a kid are NOT an important part of Canada Day. What is WRONG with you folks?)

Yes, the homeowners association is on me about my lawn. What can I say? I am the only house on the block which actually observes the water-conservation rules.

I salute the independence of resalers, consignment shop owners, and thrift store shopkeepers across the…well…planet! See the best of them here.

Another 4th of July blog message, still makes me smile.

Love your display – way better than breaking the water restriction rules. Go Kate – express your FREEDOM 🙂 JILL
