Pardon the 3rd message today from TGtbT.com , Too Good to be Threw … but this consignment shop site was
WAY too interesting to get lost in my notes.
Notice how seldom the word “consignment” is mentioned
across all her pages. (My count: once, at the end of the TV commercial clip. Which BTW is very nice and you might want to put into your resources file.)
What do YOU think?
Good marketing ploy? Or will it backfire, since her shop branding looks so chic as to impress on viewers that she’s “gotta be too expensive”? That happened to me…
When, a few weeks after opening, several customers mentioned that they had been hesitant to come in because the window displays made the shop look expensive (one of my past jobs had been as a window trimmer), I started doing the windows less perfectly. — from an old post about my hands-on experience here.
Oh yes, and the shop USED to be called Hush Resale. Quite a 360, huh? Go see this interesting site. Tell us what you think.

classy….probably classy prices…but would be very effective to get top notch clients and their great stuff. So it will work.
I’m really interested in how she took those great pictures, they look awesome!
But, looking at everything, website and commercial……..my first impression is that it’s an overpriced, expensive shop.
