Build customer loyalty by answering unspoken questions… on Youtube

July 17, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

The Thrill of Resale... on YoutubeEver had the feeling that if you could just talk to potential consignment shop customers about their secret concerns, their unspoken questions, you could build not only business but shop loyalty?

That’s what Ellen Didion, owner of 2 Chic to Chic shops in Maryland, is doing via several enthusiastic staffers and a video camera: Talking to her current and future clients via YouTube. Her latest production answers the unspoken question:

What if the designer bag I buy secondhand is a fake?

Other videos on the Chic to Chic Youtube channel cover day-to-night looks and more. Each episode includes Ellen presenting an item of the week. The shop’s only been doing this for a month or so, and it’s enlightening to see how much more professional each episode is. So go watch:

The Chic to Chic Girls Show You How to Spot a Faux Louis Vuitton!

I know Ellen would be tickled if you’d subscribe to the Chic to Chic Youtube channel. Everyone likes to see their numbers of fans grow!

V V, Brian has some good TV commercial info in his comment on https://auntiekate.wordpress.com/2011/07/12/bringing-your-passion-for-fashion-to-life/ and I’m hoping he’ll lend some of his expertise to us there!
