Sometimes, ya gotta hit ’em over the head.

July 26, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

The childrenswear shop on the NARTS Bus Tour last month was especially attuned to gift items… about a third of their shop was gifts, games, and adorable little new merchandise. So, smart folks that they are, they offer quick and easy gift-wrapping

to encourage people to think of them as a gift-buying resource.

"Yes, we gift-wrap for you! Buy a gift here, it'll be all ready to go in seconds!"And they don’t leave their “Free Gift Wrap” message to chance:

it is the first thing you see behind their sales desk!

So, if you offer gift-wrapping, do you really smack ’em between the eyes with it?

BTW: I would have emblazoned at least the sample bags with my shop name. All that white space kinda hurts my marketing eyes. Never miss an opportunity to hit ’em over the head with who you are…

That’s exactly what caught my eye…the white canvass screaming to put their store info. I mean they can order an oversized stamp and start stamping….that’s what i do. Thanks Kate for all your great help….i really do appreciate it. Is there a place to put your blog info on the HowToConsign website? TTYL
