Who sez we gotta be straight?

August 9, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

A flurry of compliments can look like a flurry… if you don’t tack them up straight. Here, letters and printed-out emails adorn a resale shop’s foyer bulletin board/ brag wall.

Doesn’t this approach, at a furniture consignment store in Dallas, make you stop and notice it, and realize that hey, a lot of people like this place… I should too.

Implied approval is a strong, strong tool to use in the resale industry, and making your brag wall more noticeable helps that tool be, well, a tool.

Notice, too, the highlighting of the succinct phrases.

Simple solution to boring testimonial display in consignment, resale, thrift stores

I’m not sure exactly why these are behind glass… maybe a competitor comes in and steals them? 😉
