As a resale industry insider, there’s a lot for you to know. And a lot for you to share with your clientele. Here are some blogs I follow that may help your business.
The Cheap Diva: Good posts you can use (as a link, remember… direct people to the blog, don’t use their material as your own!) such as Tips for Saving Money While Being Fashionable.
Thrifty Decor Chick is full of ideas not only for furniture resale stores/ departments display and merchandise presentation, but to fix up your own nest! Lots of before-&-afters, which we all love to see.
I’ve never found a blog that’s really good on kidswear and kidstuff. Maybe you have?
Ya know how you buy “trashy” magazines for plane rides? Stuff that’s totally fluff, but that really engages you (once in a while)? That’s how I look at You Look Fab.
And for proof that yes, your shop needs a blog, I offer up the Goodwill DC blog, Fashionista.

I am just SO amazed at the variety of topics you come up with for your current and potential clientele… and hope other thrifts, resalers, and consignment shops use YOU as inspiration to build THEIR blogs! (That Aug 9 dress, though… 😉 )
So which blogs do YOU find useful for your biz? I love Mr GWH’s before- &- afters. Such great “ammo” for selling thrift items.
Hi Kate!!! Thank you so much for reading the blog and giving a shout-out! Love your blog! -DCGF
