Gee, I forgot all about this.

I made a slide show. A couple, actually. Should do another one. Have you done one?Pictures tell a thousand words about your resale or consignment shop Great way to introduce potential clients to your shop.

Update November 2012: Alas, I used a “free slide show” site which is now out of business. Lesson learned: make sure any materials you have slaved over, can be preserved in YOUR computer.

I love this! Thank you for sharing. Love Donna’s idea too. May I borrow?

Donna, love that way of promoting your business. Years ago, we had a video made of still shots… it ran about 3-4 minutes… and used it in-shop, at various vendor events like bridal shows, took it with us to “dress well on a budget” talks and so on. Even ran it behind our sidewalk sale cashier, to make the wait to check out a little less boring!

I like it! I’m putting a video monitor on my consignment counter with my TV commercial, slides of my consignment terms, pictures of stuff, employees being happy, RSS feeds, and whatever. I might even run a live feed from my other location so people can be reminded that if they don’t find it here, the other store is only 20 minutes away.
