Which mannequin for your shop?

March 4, 2012 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

mannequinmadnessAre you contemplating “hiring” another “person” for your shop… a mannequin? Confused over which type will work best for you?

Read Mannequin Madness’ 3-parter article on selecting the right style of mannequin for your consignment, resale or thrift store.

And here’s a fun article on Why Vintage Mannequins Rock.

And, of course, mannequins are not only for clothing resalers. Imagine a mannequin or two highlighting a room vignette… one seated on a couch… or one posing as an overwhelmed mother in a secondhand baby gear department!

PS. If you do a lot of photography of your clothing, a ghost mannequin  might be JUST what you need. Not cheap, but imagine how much easier and quicker your photo session would be, and how much added value your merchandise will get!

We were just taking about our mannequins today…..we just recently got 4 of them for our store…and everything we put on them sells! We went for the full mannequin w/o the head…has been selling tons of stuff for us!
