Kate among the missing…
March 17, 2012 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw
If your email, order, request or plea has gone unanswered in the last 2 days, I apologize.
I couldn’t miss .
the opportunity to be of help at the wonderful Cinderella Project here in Sarasota, matching lonesome prom/ school dance dresses with some wonderful teens, from 8th-12th grades. The young women had a marvelous time, and the Fairy Godmothers got to ohhh and ahhh over every one! In 2 days, I only saw 2 girls who didn’t find the perfect dress for themselves!
If you get a chance to help one of these events out, do. It’ll do your heart good. Oh, and I finally got to meet Julie of Good-Buyz Consignment here in town, who’s a new shopkeeper. Hi Jules! Promise, I’ll call before I stop in next time!

Three pews full of evening bags!

This is just the OVERFLOW of shoes ready for choosing!

Red? White? Black? I was amazed at how conservative the girls were in their choices...

...also, how often BFFs "coordinated" their looks, without actually planning to.
ww

Everyone found a dress she loved... the girl in back was such a tomboy, everyone was amazed to see her in a dress! Every girl got a framed picture to take home with her, too.

More "coordinated" friends!

Which necklace? Let's take a vote.

The glamorpuss of the event!

First, find a dress. Next, text all your friends that you did.

The Mary Kay Lady was there to advise. She even told ME what I needed!

Just a small fraction of the Fairy Godmothers, ages 17 to 70+, who helped. Judy, the Prime Mover Godmother, in the center with the tulips. Yay, Judy!
Awesome!!
Thanks, Jessica, that means a lot coming from someone whose shop does so much for your community!
