Headed to Niagara on the Lake today and Toronto tomorrow Unfortunately a short trip with hubby and no time for consignment shopping. But going to Myrtle Beach in 2 weeks and I’ve already got a list of shops to check out :). It is such a blessing to have great employees to entrust my shop to .

I’m actually on vacation right now–in Belize! We came down here on March 1st and sadly need to leave on Saturday. It’s been a wonderful month! Thank goodness I have a great manager who can take care of the store for me!

When we go on a vacation (stateside), much of our time is spent in local resale shops, if only to compare prices, displays, organization, etc. Sometimes we buy but only small items. If we go overboard, we mail the goods to ourselves so that they are waiting for us when we get home. If there are no resale shops at our destination (like Catalina Island), we leave some time to visit So. Calif. to see friends and shop their stores.

Wasn’t Corey Deroo just there? And can one tropical paradise manage to survive two high-dynamic consignment shopkeepers in one month? We’ll stay tuned to see!
