Let’s go shopping

September 27, 2012 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

I dunno, maybe it’s in our genes or it’s the phase of the moon or something, but somedays, it’s just

Gotta Shop Day

Don’t you agree? You’d think that as resale shopkeepers we’d be pretty immune to this, but truth be told?

We’re probably in this biz because we like to shop.

The trick to shopping wisely, of course is to

Buy something that won’t cost us money, but will make us money

I don’t know how I have lived without an inflatable monkey for so many years.

Think of the possibilities! Window display: Don’t monkey around, shop MyShop and you’ll be swingin’ through the trees! (Then, maybe you could use some tree branches and some fake dollar bills in the corners of your window display?) Or put him outside, trim the borders of your window with yellow construction paper bananas and one great fall outfit with a sign You’ll Go Bananas over our New Look! … same message if you’ve remodeled, rearranged, even just painted the dressing rooms.

Then there’s tiaras and rubber frogs. Together or separate. TGtbT.com has some fun ideas over on Let’s SHOP at Too Good to be Threw the Premier Site for Professionals… and browse through one of our more popular mini-Products ever, Resales’s Cheapest Tricks and Best Buys for inspiration.

Need a wish list for your shopping? Check on TGtbT.com’s Pinterest boards. I am sure you’ll find something wonderful to make your shop wonderful.

Yes. I’m sure I’ve written about that topic many times. You can try the search function here on the blog, and also check my web site at http://TGtbT.com and our consumer-oriented web site that helps shops PREeducate their potential clients at http://HowToConsign.com
Sorry I don’t remember specifically! Maybe someone else does and can help you out here.
