10 Minutes to Build your Traffic. In your jammies.

October 14, 2012 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Got 10 minutes, or half an hour today? Put it to good use. Use it to try a few of these 32 Ways to Tweak your Blog. I don’t think all 32 ways might necessarily apply to your retail store blog, but I especially recommend Numbers 1, 15, 18, 19 and 25.

Comment below: Which tweaks have you done recently? Which do you think most important?

Don’t have a blog for your consignment, resale, or thrift shop? What, are you CRAZY? Use that 10 minutes to read Is Blogging for Me?  then download and spend a couple hours planning your new marketing tool with Blogging for Resale Shops. Your customers, suppliers, and pocketbook will thank you.

Comment below: What’s the hold-up?

Why doesn’t your shop use a blog to extend the great service, loyal flavor, and sociability past your doors, during hours you aren’t open, and to folks who don’t know/ have forgotten you? Or, if you started a blog and abandoned it, is it time now to start using it again?

This is a very helpful, straight-forward do-list. I especially like the suggestion to get into the habit of commenting on other topical blogs.

  • Being a shopkeeper's time- consuming. Get each new post in your mailbox the minute it appears. It's like a "New Arrivals" rack in your store...so you don't have to comb the racks. Unsubscribe anytime but I'm guessing you won't.
