¿Habla usted español?

March 14, 2013 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Learn a poco Spanish!A friendly thrift shop manager was kind enough to render some common consignment, thrift, and resale shop signage into Spanish for us. Take a look at

Too Good to be Threw’s Spanish for Resalers

and if you have any suggestions, additions, or thoughts, we’d appreciate you adding them in the comments!

Check out our facebook (Barnabas Fernandina Beach) we had great black & white oval signs made to show where different items (departments) are. Some are hanging, others are on plate stands on top of racks.

Great idea! We have had signs in Spanish for quite sometime. Just basic things, like please ask for assistance. We have a large hispanic community & also an employee from Honduras & 1 from Peru…they really help with language barrier!!

Thanks, New To You! Do you have any more signs you’d like to share with us?

Interesting the items that were requested. My question is how do you answer questions if you don’t speak spanish. The signs would be great, but from there, I see a language barrier. Just a thought.

I’m sure there are myriad Spanish classes in your area, Ruth, and of course, having a bilingual staffer is ALWAYS a bonus! Thanks for your comment.
