Price = Space

ITA that we should strike while the iron is hot, but I personally would be very concerned if people were constantly asking what kind of store I am. How many people are walking by wondering what kind of store it is, without the time to find out. I would think it would be a missed opportunity the next time they are looking for jewelry as they never followed up to know they carried jewelry. But I still have a very steep learning curve ahead of me in this resale world, so what do I know I guess. 🙂
Kate, you are marvelous! Love these ideas to get me thinking outside the box. After last week’s picture of the clustering of different sized, multi-colored tables in a swing shop, I now own a collection of tables and benches (an old piano bench is awesome) and found a quilt stand, too, to hold the baby blankets…all painted bright colors. Great for my kids’ store!
Connie, I mourned the day my plucked-from-the-curb piano bench died a cane-ful death. Glad that Auntie Kate & TGtbT.com are making your shop more fun and profitable!
Great video, thanks. But I can’t help but wonder why the people in the restraunt across the street, who are sitting there with nothing but time on their hands, can’t see the store sign and/or can’t figure out what kind of store it is, or what it sells. Anyhoo, off to change my displays to yellow…….or maybe blue……
Hi Beth, It NEVER hurts to tell people a 2nd, 9th, or 17th time.. AND to grab attention when they are most likely to take action. That’s 2 rules of marketing. I mean, we all know what Domino’s Pizza sells, but does that mean we don’t have to sit through 3 ads every evening at 9pm, when we’re likely to pick up and call for delivery? 😉
