Graceful copywriting, wonderful career arc.

October 21, 2013 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

I stumbled across the most wonderful vintage/consignment shopkeeper/ copywriter by accident, and am delighted to hold her up to you as a Perfect Example. Meet Jacqueline Lyet Buscombe.

Yes, I know. You’ve learned that Perfect Examples are usually people you love to hate.

Not this one.

This PE is someone you immediately like when you see her special events: The Beautiful Dead Photo Shoot, where she invites her customers to be zombie extras at a fashion photo shoot, and her Stitch-and-Bitch GNO craft get-togethers.

But what I love the most is the way she “talks” in her blog writing. There aren’t many blog post entries but what there are, are graceful, kind… and motivating to us as shopkeepers. Read her takes on the trials, tribulations, and delights of dealing with consignment! Netty Vintage was named after the founder's grandmother.Loving her way of approaching the challenges of consignment as positives.

Here’s how Jacq started.

Now Jacq is moving on to a different phase of resale.

Now, Jacq may be shutting down her blog since she’s moving on, so

read it today and take inspiration

to guide you along your personal career arc!
