You know those corny holiday letters? »

Quick-start the holidays in your shop.

November 30, 2013 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

santaonmoonBitter truth. Fewer shopping days, this year, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. That means folks will be even more harried than usual, and less likely to take the time to visit your shop. So make your shoppers so happy, they’ll think you’re Santa. Or that you hung the moon. Or both.

Here’s some off-the-mall ideas to fight back.

Make your shop memorable enough for shoppers to come back all through the season. Then tout it in your advertising, on your blog, and in your social media. Some memorable yet quick ‘n’ easy ways to increase your shoppers’ enjoyment and your shop’s word of mouth:

Loving these holiday printables. One’s cute, one’s reverent. Use them as signs, in your windows, as bag stuffers.

Quick window decor anyone can do. I guarantee it! Make it BIG and you won’t have to worry about a merchandise display til New Year’s Day! Can’t even tape a straight line? Then do this window display.

This free holiday card would be ideal, with a January coupon printed inside, as a bag stuffer in December. Or, simply use it to write those “thanks for being a good customer” messages you’ve been meaning to mail to your top supporters!

There’s many more ideas on the TGtbT.com Pinterest Board, Holidays 4 Consignment & Resale Shops.
