    These are lovely. We had several made from shipping pallets. From the centre of the short end of the rectangle, they cut on an angel to make the tree shape.
    Shipping pallets aren’t symmetrical on both sides, because the forks of a fork lift need a space to be inserted, so on that side we covered them in colourful paper (for the daytime) and lights (for night viewing). On the other side, we did a quick sand and spray paint (to hide any dirt or imperfections), put tacks on each “branch” and have a great display for ornaments. That side shows inside our store.They look great and the storage for ornaments is so helpful. I have a picture, but couldn’t add it here.
