What else can I show?

September 17, 2018 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Wonderful ways to add video to your Facebook page

without it being all “OMG I gotta get a rack ready and I gotta ship things out?” and getting your hair and makeup and nails done. PS Note that these alternative videos are short: so is the attention span of Facebook scrollers so keep that in mind.

If you’re not up to doing a selling video on Facebook to boost recognition of your shop, try something else. Show your shop’s attributes like Divine Consign does here when they moved to a new location with a massive parking lot.

Or put together a slide show.

Click through to see how Slash/Tags gives you an insider’s peek at the very start of their business. If you’re “too old” to do something like this, show how you create a display, paint the dressing rooms… even get the shop ready for a big day by vacuuming, marking down, restocking the sales counter…

Haven’t got the time?

Got 15? This rough example was done off the cuff in less than 15 minutes. The graphics could have been better, but I wanted to share how easy it is to do… and you already have everything you need! Read about how to do it in a past blog post here on Auntie Kate.

STILL too much to tackle?

Try a slide show from your smart phone. This is one I did strictly for myself, so pardon the boring subject matter.

Heck, you can even do a weather forecast!

Doing a sendup of something in pop culture’s a sure way to get some laughs and some shares. The ladies at Queenie’s Consignment have even thrown in a quick selling message by showing rainboots and Ralph Lauren earrings!

Have you done a quick non-selling Facebook video? Link it in the comments below!
