“I’m just gonna wait for some people to hop on…”

September 28, 2018 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Okay, it’s a fact of life that you have to start your Facebook Live before you have a full audience. But geez, do SOMETHING to amuse and delight. Dance, sing, tell a joke or a story… heck, pan around the room… anything but

Start your live video when it starts, advises Kate Holmes of TGtbT.com

“you may be watching but you’re not important enough to talk to yet.”

Here’s an idea: You know how lots more people watch your live videos after they’re done? They see it and click on it? So THEY are the ones watching from the 1st second. So talk to THEM in the first little segment. Something like:

“Hi to all of you watching this on demand. I appreciate blah-blah… or Let me tell you a little insider tip…”

Once you’re on, you’re on… unloose all that charm and enthusiasm you have from Moment One!
