E-interviews: Live video, pictorial post, blog write-up

October 1, 2018 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Interview your business neighbors to puiblicize your neighborhood! This is an idea for those of you with business neighbors. Have some you like? Have some whose clientele profile closely resembles yours? Have some with fascinating stories (believe me, once you start asking? Everyone has a fascinating story)?

Why not present them to your followers?

Maybe you’d like to do a live video, write up a blog post with a simple Q & A format, even just do a series of photos with interesting captions.

Choose the style of communication you’re most comfortable with, grab that neighbor, and pull out your prepared list of illuminating questions you’ll put to them!

They would appreciate the attention. You’ll be educating your social media fans. You’d be paying the favor of spreading the word about their businesses forward, always a wise business and even-wiser personal interaction.

Plus, anything that draws traffic to your area is bound to help your shop, right?

So grab the baker, approach the butcher, seek out the candle-maker. Here’s an example of one approach, and even some questions to use. Lots more pictures would be even nicer (and that means you might not have to write as much, for those of you with a fear of keyboards πŸ™‚ ).

Remarkable Resale: Some say it, but this shop does it!
