« Christmas Display Windows for Resale Shops: Part 3

November 15, 2018 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

So MANY choices for simple and effective (that means people will TALK about your windows and take selfies in front of them and bring their guests in just to see!) holiday windows that are easy and inexpensive, I have to divide the inspirational photos I have into three days!

Here in Part 3, we’re on my favorite window topic for Christmas and assorted holidays: Tis the Season! If you use a winter theme (yes, even if you’re in tropical climes) you amuse, you do not offend (some people have an issue with Santa, some feel like one shouldn’t single out one specific holiday: everyone can admire winter. I hope.), and best of all?

This theme doesn’t have to be dismantled ’til Spring!

Here’s one of our most popular Pins EVER. (Got a few moments? See TGtbT’s curated Display Window Ideas for all seasons.)
And it’s a fave because the snowflakes say it all. If you don’t sell womenswear, focus on that luxe baby stroller, that incredible armchair…

Or you could think about a pretty forest of birch trunks: Put them in the background of your display or hang from the ceiling at several depths, with your merchandise half-in, half-out of your forest…

Use simple Styrofoam strips and black paint to suggest birch tree trunks.

A more ornate birch forest: the strips plus white paint branches.

More winter festivity ideas? How about a snowstorm right up against your glass, that viewers could peer through to your displays? You can even do SHORT lines if you’re time pressed, using clear plastic snowflakes as the bottom weight…

And finally, our Number 1 Superlative Incredible Not-to-be-Equaled Winter Season/ Holiday Festivities… yet simple and elegant… suggestion. Surround your Snow Queen with luxe goods, champagne glasses/ silver serving pieces… or children’s fantasy books and items…

Hope you found some holiday display inspiration here on the Too Good to be Threw Resalers’ Blog!

In Part 1 we focused on Christmas trees and in Part 2, Santa Claus.
So comment below: which of the 3 parts did you enjoy most? And what will YOUR Christmas windows look like? Those who comment get extra attention…
