Elite Repeat will reach $1 million in money given to local agencies

This month, as the resale store celebrates its seventh anniversary, it will give away its $1 millionth dollar. Who exactly will receive the $1 millionth might be difficult to say, but it will be either Stillwater Habitat for Humanity or Stillwater Domestic Violence Services.

Of the 26 people who helped launch the resale shop, 19 are still volunteering there, Hesser added.

And how complicated will this make sizing clothing in your consignment shop?

And where might such a trend leave the resale industry? Hard enough, as Cornell points out and we resale shopkeepers know better than they, to make a size 10 fit a multitude of folks… can you imagine trying to resell Jane’s 10 versus Joan’s? “Sorry, Jane, but you have WAY too funny a body shape; I don’t think another woman in town could wear this…”

Won’t that be fun!
