Here’s how to keep all those t-shirts neat…in case your resale, thrift or consignment shop runs out of hanging space for the fall season. Patty was the first to master this… and now, we all can, thanks to Dave Hax’s step-by-step instructions!

This is also a nifty way to impress audiences at fashion shows, “Building a Wardrobe” workshops at the local library… even neat to do when you’re on your local Good Morning MyTown breakfast show, rather like a magic trick. You can bet your audience will remember this…and tell everyone they know about it too!

Got Foamcore?

Love this display window. What a fun way to scream sale, while avoiding those less-than-elegant red and yellow banners.

All you need’s foamcore board and a utility knife, some felt-tip markers, fishing line and a feel for what YOUR customers would say about YOUR clearance sale.

This was a teens-twenties clothing shop in the mall on Sunday, but imagine what your display could be. If you sell home decor, perhaps a dresser saying (more…)

How to turn outdated shoulder pads into next month’s rent.

A couple of these puppies sold (don’t you always have those shoulder pads on things on your charity donation rack, some sleazy jersey T-shirts around, and a needle and thread available?) and next month’s rent is in the, you should pardon the expression, bag.

And to think, you don’t even have to offer them in a choice of colors to ask $525 per. It’s only sold in cream…or is it creme? Is this a wonderful country or what?

Sure do wish I could show you the web site that’s offering this at a perfectly-serious $525 (50%cotton 50%rayon ) but alas, my brain just CAN’T wrap around it.

Old shoulder pads, left-over buttons, What’s next? Tune in tomorrow for the continuing adventures of The Resale Cheapskate! Or not.
