Clicks to amuse & enlighten you this weekend

September 26, 2008 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

It’s the weekend. Kick back, relax, and visit some web sites I think you’ll enjoy as a resale or consignment shopkeeper. Nothing too heavy; after all, you’ve worked hard all week.

First up, The French Toast Girl. You’ve played with her “paper dolls” on the link at “Rainy Day Fun” on my Link Page, now explore her world more. Aren’t the Christmas cards WONDERful?

Got kids…your own or customers’ during a special event…to amuse? Crayola suggests Thumbprint Sillies. I highly recommend adding Handiwipes to the supply list!

Another reason to reevaluate your advertising budget: if people are opting out of receiving the Yellow Pages, maybe it’s a waste of your advertising budget? Those hefty monthly fees might be better spent elsewhere.: maybe adding your shop here, or refining your web site, or hiring someone to blog for you.

Okay, that last link was perilously close to work. Here’s a fun project you (or a handy loved one) might think about for the holidays…and yes, it’s resale-shop-image friendly and one heck of an attention getter.

So, have a great weekend. I’m going to the Farmer’s Market, having lunch with my sister (the one who created Green Ballsy Things) , and going for an evening stroll on the beach. Hope your weekend is as appealing!
