Another one of my Favorite Things:

If you want your merchandise photos to “speak for themselves” on your web site and blog, they need to be good photos. This type of “portable photo studio” set up helps get a good, and quick, shot. I can’t imagine not having one, if you want your goods to be MORE than good. The pictured set up, from Tiger Direct, is only $39.99. Sure, you could probably “make do”, as consignment and resale shopkeepers are prone to do, but the reality is that your time is worth money, and to make-shift some lamps and a sheet (ironed of course 😉 ) just ain’t gonna happen. Thus, a set-up like this will earn its cost back the first week you use it. (You WILL use it weekly at least, of course!)

A larger one that would probably be more useful.

Remember: A picture’s worth a thousand words…and can get a lot more people interested in your shop!
