Another way to extend your business reach.

Another way for them to think about used clothes

Clothing swaps.

How could you use THESE to build your business, increase awareness, and…perhaps the most important use of all…signify community acceptance of “wearing someone else’s hand-me-downs”? And, of course, this doesn’t have to be strictly clothing… how about a home decor swap, a toy-and-book swap, an accessories swap?

Resources:

Note the charitable connection here. Great way to get a lot of good press.

Be good, be green, be glam. (Which is also a great Tweet, huh?)

Step-by-step to a Naked Lady party. One way to set your shop apart from the Sea of Resale Sameness.

Guess the Second City didn’t have a second swap.

Cheap, midprice, expensive…and a video.

Another angle: Don’t overlook the opportunity to make a clothing or merchandise swap

a highlight of your next regional resale group meeting

to build attendance, foster goodwill, and build relationships.

I’d love to have a (not just clothing) swap at Conference. Do-able?
