What consignment shops can do with those illegal drop-side cribs.

May 22, 2010 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Now that Inez Tenenbaum, chairman of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, has declared that apparently a drop-side crib cannot be made that someone, somewhere, won’t screw up, what are consignment and resale shops to do?Drop-side cribs find a second life as sorting bins at NAM thrift store

Turn them into sorting bins, like the NAM thrift store operation does in Houston.drop-side cribs, now illegal, used as sorting bins in NAM thrift shop

Barnabas’ New to You in Amelia Island uses playpens for the same purpose. Play pens used at New to You, the Barnabas thrift store in Fernandina Beach FL

Read the news: Drop-side cribs will be illegal

Just one question: where are all those babies on the loose? And who’s gonna round ’em up?Babies on the loose!

    Dear Kate,

Where did you purchase the BOAS you show in the picture of the Consigning Women that I saw in one of your posts?

Finder’s Keepers Consignment has parties also and I want to have Boas for all the attendees from now on.

    Thank You Sincerely,

    Candace Casala

      Hi Candace,
You can purchase boas many places on the web (google boas wholesale) , or even by the yard at local stores such as Joann Fabrics. They are GREAT fun and truly make your customers feel special!
