Cardboard makes memorable windows at a resale-friendly price.

A little cardboard (well, Foamcore probably) can go a long way in making memorable windows in your consignment, thrift, resale shop. Click any photo to see it larger.

Great way to catch the eye and to present a message that is a bit more complex. Having the shop's mascot in the window ain't bad, either. 😉 Don't you LOVE the way she's "standing" on an overturned wash tub?

Speak to your potential shopper in her language. Or play with words...imagine a window full of "English tweeds" with Brit-speak balloons...

- This window doesn’t even need words. Marilyn is eyecatching enough. Notice there really ISN’T a window display…just a carefully groomed end-cap display of a flashy red dress?
Keep tuned to Auntie Kate the Blog (you can subscribe to get it in your email in the upper right column) for the next installment of memorable windows…what all three examples here are missing.
Thanks to…a shop whose name I didn’t record (I’m guessing it has Mother Goose in it!), a mall store, and Bedazzled (whose city I didn’t record.)

Those are some great and fun ideas. Thanks for sharing.
