Too Good to be Threw The Complete Operations Manual for Resale & Consignment Shops is #57 in the world!

November 8, 2010 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Bookfinder.com, reToo Good to be Threw The Complete Operations Manual for Resale & Consignment Shopsports the New York Times Book Review, has issued its annual list of the 100 most sought-after out-of-print books in the world.

Too Good to be Threw, The Complete Operations Manual for Resale & Consignment Shops, is #57 on the list, beat out by the likes of Manet and the Nude : A Study of Iconography in the Second Empire but ranking ahead of Stuart: A History of the American Light Tank.

Not sure why they consider it out-of-print (we’re on our 10th edition), but hey, it’s every author’s dream to have their book mentioned in the New York Times Book Review so I’ll take it any way I can!

I am on my second turn reading the manual and i’m feeling like “Oh no…this good feeling is about to end.” But then again, who says I can’t do it one more time.

    Yes, take it Kate. Congratulations!

Hey, one more time Again and Again and for many Repeat Performances, 2nd Acts, and Replays as well! I’ll take a bow for an Encore, a Second Time Around, and any other phrase close to the heart of resalers/ recyclers/ refashionistas everywhere!
You DID know you can read my consignment shop mystery for free here: http://www.authonomy.com/books/2824/the-picker-who-perished/ …on-screen only… don’t you? You can even BUY an autographed “real” copy of it, for a holiday door prize in your shop or a staff gift or for resale or all 3, here: http://tgtbt.com/wendysam.htm

    Way to go, Auntie Kate!

Thanks Blaize. Hey folks, if you love Siesta Key, kick-a** heroines, animals, and great writing, you most def have to look up Blaize’s series, which starts with Curiosity Killed the Cat Sitter and goes on through 5 adventures, the latest of which is Raining Cat Sitters and Dogs.
The first 4 are out in paperback, and the latest is still in hardback. What a great holiday gift for yourself or a favorite reader!
