Snow Day Projects

January 8, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Don't just sit there...do something! Is snow or sleet eating into your day in your consignment or resale shop? Well, don’t just sit there!

Do something!

Might as well use the time to improve your shop.

First, two things you can do without getting up from where you’re sitting right now.

  • Learn to add, and how to write, captions in your FB albums
  • Get an avatar: how and why

Or you can gather some fun info to recycle, redesign, renew all sorts of things.

(Hey, even if you’re not the handy type, this is good stuff to know so you can add to your customers’ experience with you. Or maybe you can persuade someone else to tackle these projects for you.)

  • Get the word about your store to the public with a scrapbook
  • Recycled store fixtures ideas that’ll have you dreaming and planning
  • Upcycle your favorite t-shirt
