First, watch this short video from the UK. Warning, you may need a hankie.
Now, wasn’t that wonderful?
And a wonderful message to keep in mind, showing how important the right words are. The same but in different words, in other words.
If you are sometimes at a loss for how to phrase things (I know I am!) there’s help in the Manual .
Never again will you say, out loud where people can HEAR you, something like:
evidently some people think their crappy, old, wrinkled & yukky clothing is spun out of gold.
which an actual resaler, driven to drastic measures and no doubt totally justified 😉 , recently did.
We’ll be exploring, sometime soon here on the blog, how to phrase things so that not only are they heard, they’re heeded. At least as much as we can ever persuade other people to do the right thing. Stay tuned… I have a doozy of a file I’ve called
“Great ways to say things”
and chances are, you’ll recognize a sentence or two that you, too, have admired…or even USED!
Inspired to respond? React? Rebut? Just feeling chatty? Go ahead, use that nice keyboard in front of you...
