The closer to Christmas it gets, it seems the more impossible the kids get… whether they’re wreaking havoc on your displays, causing chaos at family gatherings, or destroying the den.
Here’s the simplest solution: get them busy decorating their own paper-bag gingerbread men. Instructions here, but instead of making a “paperdoll” strip, I’d cut separate men, punching a hole in each arm. Then the child can take home his/her creation, or let you tie it with a bit of red yarn to another, to create a garland to display in-store.
If you’re doing these for small visitors in your shop, be sure to glue a business card on the back, so when Grandma admires it, she finds out about your consignment, resale, thrift shop!
