The days of the “old fashioned”, long winded chatty newsletter are gone! Now-a-days people want something relevant for them and quick, quick, quick to take a peek at and move onto the next email.
Found a nice, straight-forward article about honoring just what your potential clientele is doing when they open your e-newsletter, and giving them what suits at that moment.
Just like you wouldn’t try to engage a hurried customer, foot out the door of your shop, in a leisurely discussion about your dog, her dog, or the weather, don’t deliver a message that they don’t have the time or inclination to read.
This is so timely and the message is one I needed to hear. I tend to lean towards chatty…so I’m going to stop while I’m ahead. LOL
