One of the forces driving people to visit my TGtbT.com web site is my Pinterest account. Just this one social avenue introduces
unique visitors to Too Good to be Threw. During February, more than 20 people a day “discovered” TGtbT!
Pinterest is easy to keep updated, especially if you use re-pins. Be sure that your caption includes the page you’d like people to visit, like this example:
Go ahead and click over to the pin itself to see this in action. Notice that clicking on the picture takes you to the originator, and that in the text/ caption below, I added links not only my consumer site, HowToConsign.com, but also an actual PDF of costume ideas for resale shoppers.
Do you use Pinterest to promote your shop? Do you find it effective? Comment below, and add your Pinterest address if you’d like.
Right now I don’t have a website of my own, just a Facebook page. Is there anyway (other than promoting on Facebook) to promote that using other social media sites.

Hi Trina, thanks for giving me the opportunity to list the quickest and simplest ways to expand your online presence! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
* Take full advantage of the “About” page options on your FB page.
* ASK your in-the-flesh customers to follow you on FB…. I personally would even give them a business card that is specifically for this to jog their memory later if necessary.
* Link your FB posts to your Twitter account. Google it… much simpler than it sounds.
* Investigate the same for Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, and whatever other social media you decide fit in with your shop’s business plan.
* I see you do have the bare bones of a site going. I’m sure you’re planning to do this, but make sure your site links to your FB page.
Best wishes, and let us know the progress you are making on this when you have a moment!
