If your shop doesn’t already use Pinterest, I suggest that you start using it NOW.
It’s free as of this writing, it’s easier than Facebook or your blog, it’s quick… and you don’t even need to constantly come up with fresh ideas! When you don’t know what to pin, just check out your feed for things to re-pin. The perfect place to find consignment- and resale-specific pins quickly is on the HowToConsign Pinterest Boards.
And pinning really works: over half of my blog readers visit me because they saw something intriguing in their feed from me.
That’s more new views than Google sends me!
If you DO have a Pinterest account, are you using it to truly drive traffic to your B&M location or your online shopping venue? Hellosociety has a good checklist of simple ways to improve your Pinterest profile. Worth reading even if you’re just beginning your Pinterest. Oh, and you might want to investigate the Pinterest Board I developed for my “How to Use Pinterest” class!
