Kudos: Facebook Cover Photos

August 31, 2016 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Facebook cover photos can immediately “place” your shop in viewers’ minds if they’ve already visited or even just noticed your shop in real life.

Or they can set the mood for what the shop might be like.

Kudos to two consignment shops and their Facebook cover photos. First, Sei Bella‘s dramatic photo of their store front in the dusk… which makes the shop look like a warm beacon in the night.

Bonus points for their having added the shop’s address to the photo as though it was part of the backlit sign!

And kudos on the other shore of the continent, to Chic to Chic.

Good consignment shop Facebook cover, says AuntieKate.wordpress.com

With the owner in her leather jacket, the pup, and the two staffers in soft pastel clothing, plus the motorcycles in front of their traditional pretty storefront, this photo makes a statement about how chic Chic to Chic actually is!

And just to balance out the two wonderful examples, an OOPS Facebook cover photo. I trust you can see the takeaway a casual observer would receive from this otherwise nice photo!

Take a fresh look at your resale, consignment, or thrift shop’s Facebook cover. Could it be improved on?

Wonderful examples. Never would have thought of adding the store address the way Sei Bella’s did.
