Where are your web site hits coming from?

January 4, 2017 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Want viewers to go to your web site?

That’s where they’ll find out what they need to know: where you are, when you’re open, what you carry. If your site’s truly complete, they might even learn when your next event is, they might grab a coupon, they might learn how to consign/ sell/ donate… they might even see a photo of what your shop looks like through their windshield. All of which is information you’d like the whole world to see, right?HowToConsign.com uses Pinterest

What’s sending them to your site?

Well, in my case…. Pinterest. 255 referrals this period. Yup. More than Google at 170 (and look at the pitiful stats for other search engines!) and even more than my always-active Facebook page which sent people to me a mere 90 times.

Still unsure if Pinterest is worth the time? It may not be for you. But I’m guessing it could be! If you’re interested, lots of links about using Pinterest on my Pinterest Board about Pinterest .

(And BTW? You can have a Pinterest presence by midnight tonight, simply by repinning, in whatever boards you want for your biz, pins from our consumer site, HowToConsign.com’s Pinterest. There’s over 1500 pins there as of today… so if you repinned say 5 a day, why that’s a year’s worth of Pins ready and waiting for you!)

Not interested in another social media to babysit? No problem. But take this opportunity to see what TGtbT has pinned for YOU, the Professional Resaler. There’s over 3000 ideas and resources there for the plucking!
