Tax Time! How much did you pay PayPal?

January 5, 2018 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Gathering up your consignment shop figures: PayPalIf you, like me, are starting to collect up all those facts and figures for your tax filing, here’s a simple way to get the annual totals of the amounts you collected, refunds you sent, and payment fees from your interactions with PayPal.

Bookmark this! It’s IMPOSSIBLE to find on PP (could it be they’re afraid you’ll freak?) and it’s

just what you need for your accountant.

To get an annual report, sign in to PayPal then click:

 https://business.paypal.com/webapps/merchantreportingweb/page/afs.form

For a monthly report, click:

 https://business.paypal.com/webapps/merchantreportingweb/page/fsr.form

The reports come with a second page which explains their terminology, so print that out too. (Caveat: This is the “old” PayPal before they “improved” their reporting, so you might want to grab your reports today before PP decides to delete these!)

Hope you paid PP lots of money in 2017… ’cause that means you sold lots!
