Yes, that is exactly what I overheard one day at the grocery, so I hustled over there to get one last fix. But it wasn’t true… the speaker had just glanced at a poorly-worded sign and made an assumption.
Misleading signage can cost your resale or consignment shop serious money. The sign here is not only worded wrong… it’s actually laid out incorrectly. All anyone sees is the closed notice and the date, not that they’d be open the next day at the regular time. (BTW, reason they were not open on Sunday April 16? It was Easter. So they missed an opportunity, as well.)
Plus, their communication was sloppy.
