Just imagine the damage I can do to the world by letting you know my true thoughts. Scary, huh? Like today, I was thinking about the never-ending discussions that go on amongst resale shopkeepers about how to handle merchandise markdowns, and why I am so adamant about the fact that the color-tag system is so bad.
I’ll tell you why. Because I still lust after the jacket that got away. I missed it because of the color-tag markdowns used in a consignment shop.
How did this situation arise? I’ll tell you about that soon. Thanks for joining me here.

Well, everyone, you will be happy to know that DuH did indeed get dinner that night. Greek roast chicken, which has the only two attributes I look for in a recipe: I don’t have to go to the grocery for any ingredients, and I can put it in the oven and forget about it til it dings.
One whole chicken.
Salt and pepper inside and out (kosher salt’s best!)
Squeeze a half-lemon. Mix the juice with Greek seasoning (or whatever’s in your pantry that you like! Everglades seasoning’s yummy too, but you might have a hard time finding it in say Wyoming.)
Stick the squeezed lemon half in the chicken’s cavity.
Rub the whole chicken with olive oil, like you would a baby with baby oil (ever wonder if olive oil is made out of squished olives what is baby oil made of?)
Roast at 350, uncovered, for an hour and a half. When you get to the chapter break in your book or the commercial, baste the chicken but don’t worry, it’s not like you have to do it every 10 minutes. Just whenever.
Good with spinach or asparagus.
