Snap tags, QR codes, 2D codes, post-click experiences: say what?

July 13, 2011 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

QR codes and moreIf you’re feeling a little old-school

with those (usually) black-and-white square designs in print advertising, on shop windows or cash registers (I’ve even heard of them on business cards!), take a listen to this presentation from Target Marketing.

There’s more to it than you know…

like collecting stats, getting “check-ins”… and whether your demographic is such that they will be likely to actually scan your QR codes.

Wouldn't you want to hear this model's "story"?

One fun way I’ve heard QR codes being used: to tell the fictional story behind the nude models in the Zappos ads. It’s called

“pushing them further down the purchase funnel.”
