Sign your name with a flourish… and a spiel

October 26, 2012 by Auntie Kate of Too Good to be Threw

Don't send out emails that don't SELL your consignment, resale or thrift shopIf you’ve ever received an email from me, you’ve probably noticed my signature block:

Kate Holmes
  • Get the free TGtbT newsletter
  • Too Good to be Threw The Premiere Site for Resale Professionals
  • HowToConsign.com Showing YOUR future customers how to “Turn their Cluttered Closets into Cash!”
  • Kate blogs at AuntieKate.wordpress.com
  • She twitters as 2Good2BThrew and pins ideas on Pinterest and at Facebook she’s SarasotaKate

In that block I provide, every time,

all the links they need

to find out about me and my (two) main businesses, TGtbT and HowToConsign. It’s a great way to remind my correspondents about how they can use my services to better theirs. Notice that my links are live: anyone who wants to, can click right to my little homes on the web.

Is that how your signature looks?

If not, spend five minutes setting it up. It’s not hard, and it is very effective. Find instructions in your email program.

Need to have several different signatures, depending on who you’re corresponding with? Here’s one way to do that.
